Erode theater group is a theater company located at the Erode area that was founded by v.sathish Kumar along with few actors who were ready to pursue theater sincerely. Years back through we faced constant difficulties to establish a professional theater company, but through the regular supports from our masters and fans, our well-wishers, and the public witnessing our plays, we were able to travel these and now we have a small theater space for the company at Erode in Kalainger Arivalayam Manlmedu.
Erode theater group’s core aim is to expand the role of modern theater in the cultural life of the country by developing new modern texts, find the specificities of Indian modern theater exploring its relationships with traditional forms, and transcending social and historical divides.

Theater creates the image of cinema theater in the people’s mind we strongly felt the need for space (a theater space ) where the artiste and people can meet each other.
Erode theater group when we were at the verge to cease without a space to work in 2019 here we should thank Mr.prabhu (checkmate dance group master)who had agreed to provide the checkmate dance center) space to us .when we went with the request of converting the cinema hall to a performance theater.
On October 24, 2019, Erode theater group stepped inside .and the carrying broom, sticks, paintbrushes and dreaming eyes. Mr. N. Arif Ali (CTC welfare trust secretary), and our beloved good helping mind person (CTC welfare trust president ) Mr. Suresh, gave life to our newly built stage through his performance on October 24th in 2019 we managed to have around 20 public performances at the theater and 30 street plays.

Since our group at Erode Theater Group was established in Erode Naadaga Kottagai Trust in Erode back in 2019, We have offered the highest standard of entertainments and theater courses to encourage youth to build their talent care.

V.sathish Kumar Feb 22, 1996, .he has a keen interest in the field of art at a young age. In the school life and his college life and has worked with great enthusiasm skills and confidence .since his college years he has been a part of the erode district government employees, performing street plays, rural art, Gana music, and awareness plays for the state and private institutions .then in his college he along with his friends created a cultural association named Amman Gana &kalaikuzhu and made street theater. during his college days, he was honored with the college of youth achievement at Bharathiar University .after completing BA English literature his college, he came out of the college 2017 , but also the journey of his life in koothuppattarai clarity for all ages interested in acting. not only acting but also rural arts, music, silambam, and again he starts with his friends ERODE THEATER GROUP .he teaches acting skills with care and multicultural arts, her aim is to raise awareness among school and college students.
